Creating and building a successful website is just like any other building project, it is about proportion, balance and quality. Use text links within paragraphs when you can, but again, don’t force the links and make them when they are irrelevant. In linking your pages, make sure that each and every page is relevant and useful. Don’t use doorway pages of information pages as search engines can spot spam a mile away.
While a doorway page is optimised with the necessary keywords and phrases to attract the attention of a search engine and appear optimised, it is still just spam and a well designed, created and informative website will get you a much better response from search engines and from your customers.
